01Who we are
Betai Labs is the trading name of the sole proprietorship (micro-entreprise) of Bernold Le Saux, established in France. Betai Labs is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
We publish AI agents that you hire on a monthly subscription. Each agent does one job: NAYA writes and publishes your social media content, IDRIS drafts your quotations, ALIZÉE answers your Google customer reviews, KAÏS and the others follow the same principle. SACHA teaches at the Academy. You meet them on betai-labs.com, you work with them on app.betai-labs.com, and you buy and manage your subscription on odoo.betai-labs.com, our shop and invoicing system.
You can reach us at contact@betai-labs.com.
02What data we collect
Your account
When you create an account or buy a subscription we collect your name, your email address and the name of your company or establishment. This is what we need to open your workspace, invoice you and write to you.
Billing
Payments are processed by Stripe and invoices are issued from our Odoo instance. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure forms and handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your card number. We keep the invoicing records that French law requires us to keep.
Connected services, with your consent
An agent only works if it can reach the account it works for. You connect these services yourself, through the official authorisation screens of each provider, and you can disconnect them at any time (see section 8).
- Google Business Profile (ALIZÉE). The reviews left on your listing (author name as displayed by Google, rating, text and date), the replies already published, the name of your listing and its address as shown on Google. ALIZÉE requests the
business.managepermission because it is the permission Google provides for reading reviews and publishing replies. - LinkedIn and X (NAYA). The identity of the page or profile you connect, the posts NAYA drafts and publishes for you, and the engagement figures those platforms return on them.
Usage data
We record what the agent does for you (replies drafted, published, approved or rejected, posts scheduled, debriefs sent) and basic technical logs (time of the request, error messages) so that we can run the service and help you when something goes wrong.
03How we use it
We use your data for the following purposes only:
- To provide the agent's service. Reading your reviews or your content brief, drafting a reply or a post in your voice, and publishing it once you have approved it. If you have chosen automatic approval in your settings, the agent publishes within the rules you set, and asks you first when a review is delicate.
- To keep you informed. Email notifications when a review needs your decision, and a debrief of what the agent did, daily or weekly as you choose.
- To support you. Answering your questions and investigating a problem you report.
- To bill you. Issuing invoices and keeping the accounting records the law requires.
We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, we do not share it with advertisers and we do not use it to profile you. The legal bases for this processing are the contract between us (to provide the service and bill it), your consent (for each connected service) and our legal obligations (accounting records).
04Google user data
Betai Labs' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Betai Labs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In practice, this means that the data ALIZÉE receives from your Google Business Profile is used only to provide and improve the features you see in the app (reading your reviews, drafting and publishing replies, showing you your review history and your debriefs). Specifically:
- We do not use Google user data for advertising or to build profiles.
- We do not sell Google user data, and we do not transfer it to third parties except to our hosting and AI providers listed in section 6, strictly to operate the service, or when the law requires it.
- No human at Betai Labs reads your Google data unless you ask us to (for example to solve a support request), unless it is necessary for security or to comply with the law, or unless the data has been aggregated and anonymised.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
Your Google authorisation tokens are stored encrypted in our database and are used only to call the Google Business Profile API on your behalf.
05AI processing
Our agents think with models built by Anthropic (the Claude family), which we call through Anthropic's API. When the agent drafts a reply or a post, the relevant text (the review, your instructions, the tone you chose, previous replies) is sent to Anthropic to generate the draft, then the draft comes back to your workspace for your approval.
Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through its API is not used to train Anthropic's models. Betai Labs does not train any model on your data either. Each client's workspace is kept separate: your reviews, replies and instructions are never used to help another client's agent.
06Where your data lives
Your data is hosted in the European Union. We rely on a small number of providers to run the service:
| Provider | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and authentication: your account, your connected-service tokens (encrypted), your reviews, replies, posts and settings | European Union (eu-west-1 region) |
| OVH | Virtual servers that run the app and the agents | France |
| Anthropic | AI models that draft replies and posts (see section 5) | API calls processed by Anthropic; no data retained for training |
| Stripe | Card payments | Stripe's infrastructure, under Stripe's privacy policy |
| Odoo (our own instance) | Shop, subscriptions and invoices | odoo.betai-labs.com |
| Google, LinkedIn, X | The services you choose to connect; each one keeps your data under its own policy | Their own infrastructure |
Access to production systems is limited to what is needed to operate the service, connections are encrypted in transit, and authorisation tokens are encrypted at rest.
07Retention
We keep your data for as long as your subscription is active, because the agent needs its history to work well (a reply written last month is what lets it stay consistent this month).
When your subscription ends, or when you ask us to, your workspace data (connected-service tokens, reviews, replies, posts, settings and logs) is deleted within 30 days. Invoices and accounting records are kept for the period French law requires, then deleted.
08Disconnecting a service
You can withdraw the access you gave to any connected service at any moment, without closing your account:
- In the app. Open the agent's settings on app.betai-labs.com and choose Disconnect. We delete the stored tokens immediately and the agent stops reading and publishing on that account.
- From Google. Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, find Betai Labs and remove its access. Google then refuses our calls, and the agent pauses.
- From LinkedIn or X. Use the third-party apps section of your LinkedIn or X account settings.
Disconnecting stops any new collection. To have the history we already hold deleted as well, write to us (see section 9).
09Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- Rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- Erase your data (the right to be forgotten);
- Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
- Object to a processing, or ask us to restrict it;
- Withdraw your consent for a connected service at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of what was done before.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@betai-labs.com from the address linked to your account. We answer within one month. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or the law changes. The date at the top always tells you which version you are reading. If a change reduces your rights or extends what we collect, we tell you by email before it applies.
